DXP analytics connector for Looker studio

As a marketer, I want to be able to connect Looker studio directly to DXP data (especially search analytics) using a Looker Studio Connector (https://lookerstudio.google.com/data), so that I can use Squiz insights in ongoing content performance reporting without having to manually import the data.

Hi there,
Thanks for posting this idea. We don't have a branded Connector for Looker Studio, however we can achieve this integration via Squiz integration platform by creating a flow using the REST API component.
Looker Studio API uses the oauth2 authentication mechanism, which is fully supported by the REST component.
The integration allows you to do the following actions:
Create record in Looker
Custom action in Looker
Delete record in Looker
Get record by ID in Looker
Download look(report) in Looker
Search records in Looker
Update record in Looker
We would be keen to hear what's the expected behaviour to integrate data between insights and Looker studio.

Thanks for the review Carrie Han.
Regarding behaviour, the Looker studio connection would be useful if:
- we could combine data sets from our Search Insights with data outside of DXP such as Google Analytics, in order to track new metrics. For example, total searches and clicks as a percentage of our overall traffic, and display search terms beside URLs that led to them (mapping this via top clicks).
- we could present useful data from the Content auditor alongside data outside of DXP such as Google Analytics, in order to demonstrate trends. For example, showing last updated and author information beside URLs that received the most traffic in the previous month.
