DXP usage breakdown by websites and instances
under review

Currently, we host a large number of websites across six DXP instances. We operate a cost-recovery model, where costs are allocated to business areas based on their website traffic and consumption.
However, with DXP, we are currently unable to obtain a detailed usage breakdown across all our subscriptions, which makes it difficult to accurately allocate costs to individual business areas.
For example, we need visibility of consumption by website or business area for services such as:
- Request counts
- Page audits / Content Intelligence
- Conversational Search
- Advanced Forms submissions
Ideally, we need a consolidated usage report that allows us to break down consumption by instance, website and/or subscription, so that we can continue to operate our existing cost-recovery model.

Hi Ray,
Thank you for sharing this suggestion! I just want to ensure I have correctly understood this idea.
Are you saying that within your single DXP instance, when you look across the subscription usage from your 6 Matrix content management instances, you'd like to show a breakdown of e.g. which sites/instances the requests went to?
Is it that you have multiple subscriptions on multiple DXP instances you want to combine, or do you have multiple Matrix instances under the same subscription that you want to break down for your reporting?
Best regards,

Hi Cam Ross
We have a single DXP instance with six Matrix CMS instances, and each CMS instance hosts multiple sites. We would like the breakdown reporting of usage for each the CMS instances and/or site.
Hopefully that makes sense.
Cheers,
Ray

We have a similar, but slightly less-complex setup - single DXP instance, with a single prod CMS instance that hosts around 20 sites. Sites belong to different areas of the business, but need to report on the usage (particularly requests, and data transfer) broken down by site.

Thanks Ray Latchmanan, that helps clarify!
Our Product Management team has now logged this request. We regularly review requests like this alongside our strategic product goals and customer demand patterns to shape our upcoming roadmap.
While we cannot promise an immediate release timeline right now, we will update this thread if this capability is scheduled for development.
